Ordering Televisions from Currys: Shipping and Delivery Times/Postage and Packaging Costs

You can ask Currys to deliver your television or television accessory to any address you choose including a works address, as long as the address chosen is in the United Kingdom.

All deliveries must be signed for on arrival except those which are small enough to be posted through the letter box.

Currys operates a one-fee postage system no matter how many products you order. For example, if you order a television and a Scart lead then you would simply pay the delivery charge for the television as this would be the higher of the two.

Currys offers three delivery services, the standard delivery service or the premium delivery option.

• Standard Delivery Service: The standard delivery option is the automatic choice, and it will take five working days to receive your goods. Currys asks you to bear in mind that delivery may take a little longer during busy periods of the year, especially during sales. Standard courier delivery times are 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.
• Premium Delivery Service: If you choose a product which is small enough to be delivered by a courier then you have the option of paying a small extra charge for the premium delivery service. This service will allow you to have your purchase delivered on a specified delivery day and within a specified timeslot. You will not be able to use this delivery service on products delivered directly by the manufacturer, so you may not be able to choose this service if you are buying a television.
• Currys Home Delivery Service: Large electrical appliances and products that are not coming straight from the manufacturer are delivered by the home delivery service. The types of products that fall into this category include televisions that are 21” or over. These products normally take around seven days to deliver and you may be able to choose an am or pm delivery slot.

Please note that there may be different delivery arrangements if you choose a product with a green van logo. This logo means that the product will be delivered directly by the manufacturer and full delivery details will be given to you during the order process.

If your television or television accessory is being delivered by courier then the third email you receive after you place your order will include the courier's contact details for future reference.

Ordering Televisions from Currys: Refunds and Returns Policy

You may cancel your order at any time up to 14 days after delivery by either returning it to one of their many stores or by returning it via the post.

The product must be unused or in a resalable “unused” condition and should be returned along with the original packaging to receive a full refund.

You can also use the pre-paid return labels to send back the goods, or have the product collected from the delivery address.

If there is a fault with your television or television accessory within 12 months of delivery then Currys will offer a repair service, and they will always offer the opportunity of an exchange or refund if the fault occurs within 28 days of delivery. You may take the faulty product to any store or you may send it back. Any delivery costs on a faulty product will be paid by Currys.

Currys also offers optional ‘Whatever happens' insurance on all of its electrical products.
